Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your account. To sign in, you'll need to provide both your password and a unique code from an MFA app (e.g. Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, etc.) or from an SMS message.
You can enable MFA either during the Cuspy sign-up process or any time after signing in to Cuspy.
Watch how to set up MFA
Set up MFA Using an Authenticator
To enable MFA after you have signed up, sign in and go to 'My Profile Settings'.
If you skipped setting up MFA during the sign up process, you will see the screen below. Click on the 'Set up MFA' button. You can use MFA through an authenticator app or through SMS.
To use MFA through an authenticator, download an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy. Install the app to your mobile.
Open the authenticator app on your mobile and scan the QR code displayed on the Cuspy portal.
If you cannot scan the QR code, you can enter the setup key shown on the Cuspy portal into your mobile to manually set up the authenticator. Once you have scanned the QR code or entered the setup key, enter the 6 digit code displayed from your authenticator app into Cuspy.
MFA will now be enabled on your Cuspy account.
Set up MFA Using SMS
If you want to use MFA through SMS, select the SMS option on the Cuspy portal. Enter your mobile number and then click the 'Send SMS' button.
You will receive an SMS to your mobile with a 6 digit code from Cuspy.
Enter the 6 digit code into Cuspy and click the 'Verify' button.
MFA will now be enabled on your Cuspy account.
If you have set up both the authenticator app and SMS options, you can now choose your default MFA method.
